Fragrance story

A sunny bouquet of ylang-ylang pierces the cloud of white mugwort, together illuminating a sacred column of cinnamon and incense. From the Garden of Eden flows the psychedelic aroma of jasmine blossoms. Lights and shadows dance with the gourmand breeze, forbidden fruits ripen in the grass, and a liqueur-like touch of rum clings to the lovers' lips. Skin in shades of brown and ebony, warmed by the embers of the hearth, smells of body balms - amber and benzoin. The air is filled with the scent of love, encompassing all human loves. It's just a step... from Heaven to Hell.

Brand story

Histoires de Parfums was born from the idea of perfumer Gerald Ghislain. A man of many professions and inspirations, Ghislain spent years gathering experiences, flavors, and aromas—and learning to weave them into a single narrative. In 2000, he decided to tell these stories through scent.

A series of 16 "volumes" was created, housed in glass bottles with book-like spines and crepe paper labels. Arranged side by side, they resemble a writer's bookshelf.
