The future and last Empress of France, Eugénie de Montijo, was born in Granada, the jewel of Andalusia. Her radiant beauty, seductive nature, and temperamental elegance captivated Napoleon III. It was this refined lady, who shaped the social life and artistic sophistication of her era, who inspired this radiant fragrance.

Brand story

Histoires de Parfums was born from the idea of perfumer Gerald Ghislain. A man of many professions and inspirations, Ghislain spent years gathering experiences, flavors, and aromas and learning to weave them into a single narrative. In 2000, he decided to tell these stories through scent.

A series of 16 "volumes" was created, housed in glass bottles with book-like spines and crepe paper labels. Arranged side by side, they resemble a writer's bookshelf.
